As usual, I'm coming from the place of a Gentile believer. I was intrigued by the Nephilim as angel/human hybrids. The Enoch tale of the Watchers and all the rest have a ring of reality to it. But, in my case, the Lord simply said, "I do not want you to teach on this." That's good enough for me.

However, I have listened to teachers I trust who hold the view we are discussing so that I can respond in recognizable terminology. I do tend to believe that the Book of Enoch is a good explanation of the origin of the gods of the Greeks and the Romans. But that is just, again, a way of discussing enemy shenanigans.

Jesus specifically warned us that the endtimes we are in at this point with be "as in the days of Noah". Clearly, in my mind, the level of evil in Genesis 6 was greatly enhanced by the work of Satan and his minions. It seems clear that transhumanism is following the same path of evil as we saw in Babel. It's quite possible that fallen angels will manifest with the lie that they are aliens who seeded mankind. UFOs show clear demonic characteristics.

But for me, my job is to simply teach that these things are all part of the plan. I see that just as Yeshua was the Messiah before the foundation of the world, as we read in Peter, the flood was part of the plan before creation. All we are going through is part of the original plan of the Father.

But I solidly agree that we cannot make it canonically part of scripture. When I was in the occult, I could clearly see that there was a common thread running through all of it. When I met the Lord, I was relieved to discover that the common thread was Satanic…that as a believer I have an identifiable enemy…and that Jesus has given me the weapons I need to battle the enemy as needed by circumstance. In a very real way, I have discovered that Satan is a lawyer, always looking for loopholes. That's not doctrine. That is simply my experience.

For me, the Watchers and the Nephilim & Repha'im & all the rest are a coherent explanation I can use to discuss the severe problem which resulted in the need to kill all human and animal life. But Noah found grace. And it was all part of the plan of God to build what I call the Training Place of Mankind—after the flood. Now we are headed into the second great remodeling to prepare the planet for the millennial rule of Yeshua Messiah under his new name.

So, I think we basically agree. That's fun.
